1. Valentine's Day? To me it is a western holiday and it gives you an excuse to spend. Did you smell the romance in the air? No. Do we really need such a holiday to remind us of the importance of cherishing our loved ones? Is it enough to be a loving person every day (to me that is impossible, I could be very mean sometimes and I could be the sunlight of the universe in other days- well it depends....)

2. Torino Winter Olympics. A Couple of Chinese athelets are very competitive in some competitions. But sometimes it just tires you out when you watch a game, you have to be thinking: okay, this is a Chinese player (not that I don't LOVE the country)....  If I can just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the game, it will be a bliss.

3. Gtalk inside gmail. I have tried it and it is cool. What can I say? I won't use MSN anymore.

I have practically stopped using MSN. Personally I don't really like online chatting with meandering topics and subtopics. But this Gtalk thing really does things other chatwares don't. I like the Gtalk interface: it is neat and simple - no flash ads, low requirement for PC memory. Hope Keso won't sue me over the use of his address and all that....

The new Gtalk is even more user-friendly: you can chat with your friends within the gmail account page (as long as you are logged in). There will be a section called CHATS to save your chats and it is listed together with inbox and sent mails....
